The Castle Climbing Centre is looking for a highly organized, engaging and enthusiastic individual to join our team and take on the role of Events Co-Ordinator. We’re looking for someone comfortable thinking both creatively and methodically to deliver a programme of exciting, well-executed events throughout the year. You’ll be responsible for generating engaging ideas as well as execution, and need to be comfortable working with staff from all areas of the Castle, external companies, and of course, our customers.
This is a part time role, amounting to 24 hours per week.
Castle Customer Events – from idea to execution, you will organise and co-ordinate our annual programme of customer events such as The Castle Garden Party, The Castle Christmas Party
External Events Planning – Organise and Co-ordinating events from third parties run at the Castle for customers such as Petzl, the North Face, La Sportiva etc
Staff Only Events - Planning and administering staff only events such as Castle staff climbing trips, Staff Christmas Party, All staff workshops etc
Risk assessments and co-ordinating staffing for events
Knowledge of Adobe suite (specifically Photoshop) is desirable.
