I live and work on the edge of the Dark Peak, climbing once or twice a week locally mainly on the grit, and do a winter trip to Scotland once a year. My climbing career has been interupted a few times by injuries (only one caused by climbing!), my actual career, and a young family, but over this last year or so, I have finally been able to get back to regular climbing at a reasonable standard - long may that continue!

Best Climbing Experience
New Year's Day 1995 Aonach Eagach ridge. My first ever winter route, done unroped with a bunch of good mates. Sunrise on the first peak, sunset on the last, climbing on perfect snow in the sunshine, and down to the pub for a beer at the end.

About My Photography
A casual hobby for many years, a serious hobby with some work exhibited and published for 3 years. Mostly landscape and natural world these days, but sometimes do a bit of climbing photography. (Usually prefer to be climbing though, rather than behind the lens)
