Best Climbing Experience
Andrew Warrington is the founder of MC Adventure. He has been climbing since 1985, Andy got the bug as the first member to join the University Rock Climbing Club. He's climbed consistently since then, enjoying chossy, vegetated epic new climbs on sea cliffs. He delights in weaning newcomers to the thrills of climbing, and has been responsible for recruiting some of Malta's best climbers. Andy has logged climbs in locations like France, Italy, California, Nevada, UK, Kalymnos, Switzerland and Austria. In 2002 he reached a personal record height of 6,427m, on summiting Ancohuma in the Cordillera Real, Bolivia. In 2007 Andy published the guidebook to climbing in Malta together with two co authors, a massive undertaking that lists 1300 climbs around Malta, Gozo and Comino. He was responsible for initiating and running the MTA-MRCC Bolting Project since 2005 as a result of which Malta has a growing number of sport climbs, equipped to the highest standards. He assists the Maltese Government in developing Malta as a climbing destination for visiting climbers and is active in writing articles, generating photography and video material which is published extensively in the climbing media internationally. He currently leads around 6c/7a (on a good day!)
