I started to climb indoors in September 2013 in order to belay my son. However, I immediately became hooked myself and climb regularly at the XC climbing wall in Hemel Hempstead, where I have met a great bunch of climbers and instructors. In April 2014, I attended the BMC Ready to Rock course in Plas-y-Brenin in order to progress to outdoor climbing. This finished with my first officially designated outdoor climb, "Bruvers" HVS 5a (25m) on Holyhead Mountain. I am now totally hooked...
