After cycling 10000 miles in winter from Istanbul to Hong Kong in June 2014, I realised that I enjoy being in the mountains. Before really pursuing this, I qualified as a secondary school teacher in the UK. I finished this in July 2018.I started from scratch on the summer ML in June 2014 and had passed by June 2015. I then went to the Alps; I have climbed 15 4000m peaks up to AD level.
Looking now towards Summer Alpine and Scottish winter terrain. I am aiming to develop my Alpine skills through the summer, before continuing my Winter ML through January - May 2019. My trad skills need work, and I am only competent with one ice axe; these skills will be developed.
