I live down in Cornwall and enjoy summer and winter climbing and mountaineering throughout the UK. Much more at home on low grade, high fun, multi pitch routes with good company. There's just no contest between short, stumpy, grunty, hard climbing versus stopping at a pitch and looking at a view mid climb, taking it in, enjoying it and then realising how lucky you are.

Equally at home in a dire, serious, risk of certain death, winter mountaineering situations too. Love it!

Best Climbing Experience
Probably a day on Aonach Mor last winter. Serious, technical, thought provoking, beautiful, cold, dramatic, and good company. A true classic Scottish winter day.

About My Photography
Only the odd occasional "lucky" photos on my digital point and shoot. I like to poach my chums photos, as I'm normally bricking it too much to let go and reach for my camera.
