Started with sports climbing at the back end of 2003,easy stuff maybe twice a month mixed in with a bit of indoor work.
Then in 2005 a bloke named Ritchie Griffiths took me trad climbing in Tremadog.
First route "Christmas Curry".I was hooked,you can keep your sports stuff it was trad for me and living in North Wales what better place to get out on chassic trad routes.
Still do a little sport climbing now and then,but only if I have to.
Last year (July 2007) while been lowered of a "Sports Route" my belayer lost control of the rope and I fall 26 foot smashing both my heel bones.
Once I was up and about again it was indoors to get my strength back and this year (2008) I've been making up for lost climbing time,sore feet or not.

Onsighting any trad route does it for me,hard to tell which was the best,All of them I guess!

Interests Outside Climbing
Enjoy getting out on my new 2010 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade,roads in North Wales are great just a pitty there's so many Cash Machines AKA Speed Cameras :(
