Best Climbing Experience
a)1980:Reaching top of Lliwedd's Slanting Buttress route on 1st real climb (attracting gasps of admiration from hillwalkers on Snowdon horsehoe)
b)Top pitch of Bovine (sticks in mind 28 years on).
c)Solo traverse of Cuillin Ridge.
d)Weird 'Zen' experience climbing solo in my local quarry, August 2001: inexplicably I was climbing absolutely brilliantly like a
human rock lizard, then heard a 'Voice' talking to me (!). This was followed by an almighty thunderstorm. Weird, but amazing ! Am I the gods' chosen climber ?
e) 45 climbs in a day at The Roaches/Hen Cloud (to celebrate 45th birthday) - basking after the 45th by Doxey's pool with Duncan and Jude in golden evening sunlight was wonderful.
Favourite Climbing-Related Discussion Topic
Anything humorous, informative or philosophical. Not overly fond of 'favourite animal sex-object' threads. Any thread featuring my profound wisdom. Proud originator of two of the best RT threads ever - "I know that I shall meet my fate" (aka the poetry thread) and the 'Toproping Song Contest" thread.

Anything Else We Should Know
My 2 best friends and climbing partners are a beagle called Gorple, and an Action Man climber called Kirk (I fear that climbing on my own for too long may have 'turned' my mind).
