Just discovered the joys of climbing. Climb at Craggy. Can't decide whether I enjoy walls or bouldering more - walls seem to be more of a psychological challenge as I hate heights whereas bouldering is fun but more strenuous. Committed now as I've spent around £150 on equipment - I'm a sucker for punishment.Location

Best Climbing Experience
Lame but doing my first full height wall at Craggy. Like I said, I hate heights, so it's a personal accomplishment.
Almost as good is doing a couple of 6a routes in a row (no cheating, of course), when I thought I'd plateaued at 5+. Hope to have many more similar revelations. ;)
Two years later (give or take a month), my new experience is leading the overhang on the competition wall at Craggy. Scary stuff. For a wimp like me, anyway. My next goal is to do the overhang without talking to myself in a motivational coach kind of way...
