Started climbing at 14 in Avon gorge, was doing E1 by 17 but not really progressed much since as life got in the way. Started sports climbing at about 40 and now mix that up with trad and hill walking

Location
Harpenden

Best Climbing Experience
Any number of first ascents in Wadi Bih and Wadi Galilah in UAE, and in this country, the climbs that really stick in my memory are the Dream of White Horses, Centurion, Coronation Street, Lich Gates, Riders on the Storm…
The Cassin Route on the Piz Badile was an amazing experience but what I enjoy now are the occasional trips away somewhere sunny with the boys or Morocco climbing adventurous trad in the sunshine.
