Ive been climbing for just over 2 years, and currently climbing about HVS/E1. Really into climbing for the enjoyment and not just for the grade obsession, but grades for me indicate progress, which is always nice, as each new grade opens up loads of new routes to do.Aims (gradewise) for 2010 are :
Get comfortable at E1, confident at E2, onsight E3
Lead Rubicon clean, project something hard on sport maybe another 7a+/7b
Other Aims are:
Climb more routes than in 2009 (a disappointing 90)
Tick all the routes in my wishlist
Climb abroad

Best Climbing Experience
Topping out on El Pison at Riglos, and Moskitos on La visera. The memory of the whole trip will stay with me forever
First E1 onsight on "Warp Commander" at Worlds End in North Wales. Scary route with ground fall potential, crux protected by iffy microwire. Grabbing the jug after the crux, was the most amazing feeling. Topping out having lead the route clean, totally onsight, was even better. My First Grit E1 onsight, Embankment 3 at Millstone. Brilliant route, felt totally in the "zone" and confident.
First "E3", Lazy Day (with old bolts) at shining cliff. Fantastic climbing, a bit bold protected by 50's bolts which may or may not hold. Loved leading this, will do it again as an E5 when im feeling a bit bolder :)

Interests Outside Climbing
Biking, camping, Medical stuff (will be a student paramedic as of sept 2010), walking, anything outdoorsy, beer, good music, food, good times with good people, ideally a combination of those!
