Now 71, but a lifetime of distance cycling and circuit training has kept me fit. Climbing is a nice addition to overall fitness, and provides the opportunity to gain skills rather than just mindless endurance!
Being retired, weekday climbing is possible - have now moved to Norfolk (not famous for crags!) but the local climbing wall (The Cragg, 30 min away, is very good if small). For a proper fix, climb at The Castle, or sport climbing trips abroad have also been good.
