I have been climbing for over 50 years. Unfortunately I only climbed a couple of times last year, so I have pretty much given it up now for the time being. I have been suffering for may years with severe arthritis in both shoulders and both knees. However, I have had both knees replaced during the last 3 months and I am currently recovering (slowly) from the second operation a week or so ago. Hopefully I will be able to get back to the climbing in the springtime. Fingers crossed!Location

Interests Outside Climbing
Used to be a rally driver but gave up 10 years ago due to lack of funds. I will start up again WHEN I win the lottery.
I used to do a bit of fell running but knee problems put paid to that quite a few years ago now. I still get out on the fells very occasionally, although not on the high fells anymore.
