Wow that's a surprise!! will really miss that wall, until its hopefully rebuilt....

Doesn't leave a vast amount of lead climbing in the area

I'm sure when its rebuilt it will be amazing!

Big Depot in Leeds? I take it it’s just a rebuild? A few of us use it pretty regular in the winter, (I love the super slab there).

Apparently, they are trying to "regain" the position of "best climbing wall" in the North  by remodelling. Unfortunately the wall will still only be 10m high, so it all seems a bit pointless to me. I do miss Kendal Climbing Wall now I'm in Yorkshire - I never really appreciated how good it is until I moved away!
