Hi all,

I've been having some right old issues with my fingers lately and I'm not really sure what to do next!

I had to stop climbing for a few weeks a month or two ago and after since I came  back to the wall my skin has just been peeling like crazy and I have consistent blood blisters on all my fingers.

After climbing hard in build up to some competitions I also got these numbing feelings in my fingertips which is obviously linked to the nerves.

I can still usually climb on it but I'm just curious if anyone has ever seen this before or had any suggestions?

I'm going to try see a dermatologist but just need to get a GP approval first.

Thanks in advance

James

In reply to JamesRudge:

Some people find some of the stuff in chalk irritates their skin. Trying a brand of jusy pure chalk might help with the peely skin. Also making sure to wash all chalk of immediately after climbing can help. Good luck!
