I've done it several times in summer but it would be way beyond my ability in winter conditions. Would it ever though be more than a snowed up rock climb? In those conditions, attacking it with spikes could cause significant damage to it I would have thought.
I heard of it being climbed several times back in the early 70's but I have no way of either proving or disproving it. The thing is it's the person who reports doing any climb "officially" that gets the credit and over the years I've had that work both ways with regards to climbs I've both climbed and claimed.
