Quite a while back I posted about Steve Ashtons guide book on Scrambles in Snowdonia, and the topic of Yr Esgair kind of came up a bit, I've just found this great video on YouTube of a chap doing the ridge.

There is only one way up and that is via Bryant's Gully, an excellent scramble!
Excellent indeed, but on a different mountain ;-)
I was thinking of the Esgair Felen ridge, my mistake.
I subscribe to this chap's youtube channel - some excellent POV footage of the harder scrambles.
Thanks for posting - brought back memories of an eminently un/forgettable attempt on this in winter!
At first I found the Gopro wide-angle annoying so I skipped on to ca. 6 mins, when the climber is on the crux, and from there on I was hooked - just like Free Solo! A really good illustration of why 3S might as well be E3 5a.
