Yesterday a climber pulled off a massive block from just above the yew tree to the right of the climb Low Stern on Anchor Buttress at Giggleswick South and had to be helicoptered off the crag to hospital. Please be aware there are now several other loose blocks just above the yew tree, including one the size of a fridge.

Cheers Gary,
It was me! However I didn't pull it off! I had done the route and a block hit me as I was being lowered off!!
! Wasn't aware of where it came from. I put up a post about it yesterday. Currently still hospitalised but alive!!! My helmet saved me.
Regards
Chris

PS if you know if my quick draws were recovered id be grateful, please let me know. I have offered a reward
