UKC

Hi, 

Was at a crag the other day and misread the route description and ended up doing a new (eliminate type) route. Was wondering how I'd go about putting this on the crag on UKC. Is it update crag, or is there something specific for a new climb?

+ Add Missing Climb -- button at the bottom of every crag logbook page.

At the bottom of a crag page in the logbook there is an add missing climb button.

Unless the eliminate is significant don't be surprised if it's not entered as a new climb by the crag moderator...some mountain routes have so much potential variation on their own,  it could lead to scores of minor eliminates (and clog the pages).

Most just tick the climb and add a comment noting the eliminate.

E-mail the moderator

Would make sense to check with the local new routes editor, e.g. Simon Richardson for Scotland, to check whether it actually is new or not first, before putting it up on UKC.
