An awesome vid. Simply awesome. And a great soundtrack too. So much better than some hard-core gangsta rap to accompany a bouldering vid.

My son's local scout troup are planning a similar dry tooling descent of Moonraker in February. There'll be just enough guano then to slow them down by the first belay to prepare for the swallow dive into the inviting waters.

I gave my 12-year-old kid an axe to descend Red Screes today (she'd never used one before) and, to be frank, it was more hair-raising than that video. We both survived long enough to drink hard liquor in the bar of the Kirkstone Pass Inn. (And she wants to do the same thing again tomorrow!)
