Does anyone know if a 60 metre rope doubled up will get you to the deck from the lip on kilnsey main overhang?

Doubled up to ab off the belay over the roof it'll get you down, but if you lower off with gear clipped back through the roof you won't get to the deck.

Please also be very careful with aid placements - clean aid only - no new pegs, as these could block or damage the crucial slots on routes like Mandela (8a+) and Freakshow (8c)

Take quite a few short thin slings for the numerous threads near the top of the directissima.
The peg above the first belay (the one you will clip to reach out to the first bolt in the roof) is pretty dodgy and pulls in the direction of travel.

Its good fun and pretty scary : )
