hey guys just seeing if any of you know good abseiling places around bolton and greater manchester

I think there is an abseil point a Lester Mill quarry. I've never used it but its meant to be there....

I can recommend a tower crane I once abseiled off in Salford. Very solid.

Why not? It is E8. I can't do it. Probably best used as an abseil!

Teggs nose quarry in Macclesfield has a purpose built anchor point and platform and is regularly used by groups. I'd check the situation re access first though as I'm not sure you can just rock up and clip in, you may need some paperwork/insurance as is the case at Millersdale.
