Apparently three (at least) bolts have appeared on top of Bull Scar.  A crag amply served with natural placements and containing no Sport routes.

In the last guide Natural England had expressed concern over erosion at this crag due to 'groups'.

So. Why the bolts?

Or, rather, lazy and/or incompetent centres and instructors being geographically confused, thinking they're in France, and wanting to make their lives easier?

I'd hate to think it was down to centres/instructors. They really should know better.

Folks used to clipping bolts who want to climb there?

Enjoyed the typo (intentional?!) in the title! Very apt!

Always careful about my language!

There are too many blots appearing on the previously pristine panoramas of York's.
