In reply to The Pylon King: When I first saw that I thought "WHAT", but then there are so many guidebooks with dreadful front covers (Rockfax is a steady offender: Western Grit, Pembroke, North Wales Climbs etc) that something like this, which takes a few moments for you to work it out is possibly better. By the end of this post I quite like it.

I haven't a clue what the grey bit is supposed to be and although i do like to see a pic on the front cover, i do think it is a really good design. If you then open it up to a stunning DPS title page then its a winner.

Also - there can be no complaints that a climber isn't wearing a helmet, thus sparking several threads about 'should they, shouldn't they, would you, have done' etc.

More to the point, the new guide is very very good. It's what's inside that counts?
