Nice one Ian, I look forward to trying it.

Was this what your possible film project was about?

Fantastic effort bolting and climbing that line. Sorry to hear about the rope theft
What's your opinion on the star rating for this route?
OP Sl@te Head 28 Apr 2014
In reply to The Ivanator:

I've left it open for others to comment about the stars and also the grade, hopefully it will get a few repeats soon....
In reply to Sl@te Head:

Well done Ian and Celt and thanks for putting all that work in.

We'll be down to give it a spin soon

In reply to Sl@te Head:

Look forward to giving it a go. Nice one.

Great effort - many more gaps in the big hole?
OP Sl@te Head 29 Apr 2014
In reply to pasbury:
Quite a few gaps but would require a huge scary effort + care would be needed so as not to interfere with the existing trad lines. I have a couple of projects already drilled but not on that face.

Looks fantastic, well done! Is the rock solid on that line? I was under the impression the rock in that area could be a bit loose at times.
OP Sl@te Head 29 Apr 2014
In reply to Matt250:

2nd pitch had a lot of small loose flakes rest of it required very little cleaning and is on really good quality slate.

Worth mentioning that the Bolts are brilliant, 105mm long 16mm Stainless resin Bolts, kindly donated by Jim from Bolt Products.

Those are the bolts that everyone should be using.
I'm not a major sports climber but this looks good to me. Hope I don't have to queue!

Article in the next issue of Climb magazine, also hearing that it's had quite a few repeats over the last few days

Brilliant effort. I can see this getting loads of ascents!

Checking it out next time I'm in the quarries!
