Afternoon all. I'm off to Portugal this Saturday to the Albufeira area and was wondering if there's any good deep water soloing around this area. I've not climbed for 2-3months due to work commitments and thought my holiday abroad could help me get back into it!

If anyone could let me know of areas or guides for the Albufeira area I'd greatly appreciate it.

In reply to Ellison5690: the rock there is crumbly as he'll. I was messing about one day on some cool looking rock, a lovely little v roof. ... next thing I know I'm on my back, winded with a massive lump of rock in each hand! !!! Of cause this is my very limited experience of the place.

In reply to Ellison5690: Hi, dont think there is much DWS near albufeira, its further along the coast towards Sargres. There is a Crag about 2-3 miles outside albufeira but didnt climb here (search ukc)

In reply to Ellison5690: Hi no DWS in Albufeira you need to head west to a beach called Ingrina nr Sagres but the Crag just out side nr Gale is well worth a look,Topo http://www.8a.nu/
You also have Roche da Pena inland Topo at Cafe.
