Wild Country are collating as many useful webcams for climbers in the Uk, and across the globe, in one place - http://www.wildcountry.co.uk/community/webcams/ - and although we've made a great start we thought
'Let's ask those plucky fellows who go outdoors as well as scribbling on UKC which webcams if any they use?.
So if anyone has good webcam links please add them here...

There is also a very useful weather station link on the left hand side which gives you stats for 24 hours.

Living in the middle of Dartmoor I find this site invaluable.

In reply to Richie Patterson, Wild Country:

Do you have any plans for regularly checking the links on the page? There are a few other sites with similar lists, but are fairly useless as so many of the webcams included either no longer work, or have had their URLs changed.

The UKB Wiki has listed quite a few since 2010...

http://ukbouldering.com/wiki/index.php?title=Useful_WebCams

They were collated together based on this thread...

In reply to Toreador:

The UKB Wiki is editable so if you find a link is broken you can update it yourself (e.g. search for the webcam on a popular search engine).

Wiki's are ideal solutions to these sorts of community sourced information resources.

http://www.landsendweather.info/ is from the lookout on top of Chair Ladder; also useful link to "Latest Weather" which gives wind direction and rainfall.

I'm looking to add a cam for Llanberis Pass with a clear view up the pass toward the North Ridge of Crib Goch, along with some weather data, of interest at all?

In reply to Richie Patterson, Wild Country: There is a webcam at Daddyhole plain From a coast watch lookout looking over Torbay, gives indication of weather and sea state. Sorry don't know link.

In reply to Richie Patterson, Wild Country: loads on http://www.5hort5.co.uk/webcams.html but not all are working

For the lakes http://www.elh.co.uk/watersports/web_cam.aspx at the Low Wood hotel (looks over Windermere) is useful when it's working

Main problem seems to be finding cameras that are still working so if you are going to have some kind of resource, it needs maintenance. Also, decent descriptions of what a webcam provides before looking at it would be good; e.g. view from XXX over YYY, useful to see weather conditions on ZZZ
