There was a video a few years ago of a (French, I think) climber on some obscenely hard route. Having passed the difficulties the climber is stood on a ledge, casually pulling up slack to clip while talking to the camera about falling when the hold he's on disintegrates and he takes a massive whipper.

Does anyone have an idea of who it was and/or what the route was?

I'd forgotten about that one. Great to re-watch and amazing how things have changed in such a relatively short time span.

They don't seem to do the Petzl Rock Trips any more which is a shame. They were all pretty interesting and well made films.

Quite a lot of rock going down and not a helmet between them.
