Late May. Route Suggestions around HVS/E1 please. We will definitely stop in Torridon. That's about the whole plan so far.

In reply to Liam Brown:

Diabaig, nr Torridon and Stone Valley Crag would both be well worth a look. Further north, Reiff and Sheigra.
In reply to Liam Brown:

Diabaig (all of it)
Grey Panther at Kilt Rock
Jack The Ripper on Stac Pollaidh
All of the Financial Sector at Neist
Original Route on the Old Man of Stoer (only VS, but a brilliant day out)
Reiff's great, although I'm not sure about any individual routes, it's just a lovely place with nice climbing.
And apparently Sheigra's not bad...

get up on Ben Nevis on the way

Lewis/Harris?

Sheigra is Great!

In reply to Liam Brown:

Ardmair is far far better than Reiff.

The other obvious suggestions are fine.

Caithness is well worth a visit.

In reply to Liam Brown:

So many great crags. Be aware that often the grades are really soft up there, so look at the classic E2s too, and some of the E3s if you go to Reiff (they're actually more like HVS). All been mentioned, but:

Diabaig Pillar is a cracker and a steady E1, but like VIM says, do every route there if you can, it's amazing.

Sheigra is completely awesome, and apart from Bloodlust Direct which has quite a run-out, the E2s are all more like E1. Geriatrics is up there with the best routes I've ever done, but they're all fantastic.

Jack The Ripper is unmissable - one of the best E1s in the UK?

Many of the routes at Reiff are exquisite gems! Would you say such a thing about Stanage? (though obviously Stanage is a far less lovely place).
