I tried those and didn't like them. I found they vibrated my head too much, and the sound was pretty poor compared to headphones.
Environment is a consideration. I bought them for the gym, which was a spectacularly dim thing to do - I was hearing AC/DC through the Aftershokz and crappy pop music from the gym sound setup at the same time. (What on earth was I thinking?) I imagine they'd be great for runners, though: music plus situational awareness.
