For once I happen to have a pair of shoes whereby the soles have diminished before the uppers. The shoes in question are Inov8's X-Talons, probably a couple of years old now, and whereby the worn out studs have made them redundant for any fell or x-country running the uppers are (surprisingly) looking really healthy and intact.
As such, has anyone had their fell shoes re-soled by companies such as Lancashire Shoe Repairs -

It'd be interesting to hear if the results are worth what would be a £33 refurb, or indeed feedback on this companies own LSR Fell Sole that they use?
