So what's your choice for marking your map? 1/2 length sharpie? Chinagraph pencil? Biro? Blood from open wounds?

For marking up before start ?

If it's dry a Staedtler Lumocolour indelible pen, if it's wet a Staedtler lumocolour indelible pen with shelter !

Usually have a chinagraph just in case i need to mark on the go and the map is wet/sweaty

Mmm... they look good, do you have a quoted weight for it? Is it possible to drill holes in it to decrease weight?

In reply to Herdwickmatt:

To save weight I use the burnt end of one of my two matches. Not the end with the phosphorus on it obvs so I have to remember to prepare it before dibbing at the start.

In reply to Jack Frost:

Good shout. I hadn’t considered that option.  If you were careful you could then use the match to replace one of the useless 1g titanium pegs my TN laser has.
