Runners in the Cairngorms this weekend
Three friends and I walked in to Lurchers crag via the Chalamain gap on Saturday. Just as we were halfway through five or so middle aged chaps in lycra and fell shoes passed us going at a ferocious lick. As we topped out our climb we saw them descending Braeriach, having presumably been to the summit (at the very least).
The next day, while waiting in the Cairngorm car park I saw the same herd of old goats off for another run in the snow! Their psyche was impressive.
I managed to get a couple of pictures of them on Saturday that I thought they might like. If anyone knows any of them please put them in touch.
