Trail running shoes for big feet?

Can anyone recommend some trail/off road trainers to fit big (size 48/49), narrow, low arched feet.

(additionally any recommendations on where to find and try such footwear would be much appreciated)

If it makes any difference, I'm pretty much a beginner to running.

Great shoes in big sizes with different width fittings. Online shop often has good deals.

Salomon XA Pros should be easy to find (Cotswolds stock them) - the 12 1/2 is a 48 I think

Anyone know of shops that tend to stock a variety in larger sizes as a matter of course?
Would be good try on a few pairs, rather than traveling to a store which has maybe one pair that *might* fit
