A pal and I are considering doing a ski season in the Alps next winter before we get too old and knackered.
We are thinking mid Feb - mid April 2014.
Does anyone have or know of something suitable, preferably in the Chamonix valley, but willing to be persuaded into other areas. Must be somewhere there is good touring as well as piste and lift-served off-piste skiing. We will have a car, so doesn't have to be in a town necessarily, though nearby would be good for social scene.
Even if you haven't got anywhere in particular in mind, suggestions for good locations and why also welcome!
