Anyone got any tips for getting from Innsbruck airport to St anton resort. Ski transfer buses are looking about £250 return.

Car hire is £138.

Any other options people have done?

Train. Very easy - bus or taxi into Innsbruck centre, jump on a train (they're pretty frequent, and very comfortable) straight to StAnton. http://www.oebb.at/en/index.jsp for Austrian train info.

THere's lockers at St Anton station which is handy for dumping all your kit while squeezing in last few hours of skiing on the last day. Usually plenty of taxis at St Anton station if your accommodation is not central (the station is very central - less than 500 metres from the lifts).

And if you have time in Innsbruck visit the Augustiner bier hall - right in the centre, 10 mins walk from the station, near the cathedral. very tasty beer and fantastic food. http://www.stiftskeller.eu/aktuelles-aus-dem-stiftskeller.html

I assume the station at St Anton is St.Anton am Arlberg?

In reply to Adam Lincoln: A Taxi is 10-12E from the airport to the train station however a bus goes every 10 mins. The Train station in Alberg is St. Anton am Alberg.

I arrive on sunday morning too. 10/15 mins in taxi to train station then about an hour to St Anton.
