Hi all,

Looking for a bag to transport my touring skis on a plane. Any recommendations? Not any shops that locally stock such things so will have buy online, hence trying to work out what you get for a £60 bag compared with a £20 one.

Thanks for any suggestions!

I got one of these in a sale (paid around £50 I think)

the pockets are big enough for size 29.0 boots & all my ski touring gear will go in with the skis. (Took clothes in carry-on luggage)

Snokart

From big multi function bags - https://www.snokart.com/snokart-product/bags/black-kart

To something super light and simple like the airliner bags - https://www.snokart.com/snokart-product/airliners/ski-airliner-185

In reply to bigbobbyking: if you feel flush, check out douchbags, got one and love it over my past Dakine bag. Secondly get a snowboard bag - you can fit more in it

Be wary about packing clothes in snowboard bags - I've done this for years, with mine but got stung for extra baggage this year, as they've apparently changed the rules and insurance won't cover that anymore.

Was flying Neilson with Thomas Cook, so may just be specific to them.
