Yeah he was first to ski the north face (specifically the Norton Couloir IIRC)

Yuichiro Miura skied down in 1970. Or he skied most of it, then fell the rest. But made it out ok.

“Miura skied 6,600 feet (2000 m) in 2 minutes and 20 seconds and fell 1,320 feet down the steep Lhotse face from the Yellow Band just below the South Col"

Actually having looked it up there's quite a few ski descents, including a north face one in mid 90's

Fair enough, saw the banner on a website login page and simply thought "bonkers". Appreciate this may not be first, but the video is great. Just love the idea of all these paying clients (maybe) struggling for breath and seeing this apparition of a skier!
