Are you interested in making the transition from indoor to outdoor trad climbing? If so, would you like to form a group going to Snowdonia for a 'Moving Out' 2 day course on 3-4 April 2018? It would include:
* Lots of climbing!
* Placing 'bomber' gear for anchors and runners
* Rigging a bottom rope on a single pitch crag
* Tying into anchors at the top of the crag
* Principles of leading and a leader's rack
* Setting up and managing an abseil
* Some multi-pitch climbing.

If we can get three or four of us going, then we can stay at Plas-y-Brenin and have our own instructor for the course. All equipment hire, in-course transport around the area and use of their facilities (e.g. indooor climbing wall) would be included in the cost: www.pyb.co.uk.

Packed lunches, cooked breakfast, afternoon tea/cakes and dinners would also be provided at Plas-y-Brenin. Based on a 1:4 ratio, the course cost will be £295.00 per person and includes two night’s single en-suite accommodation (night before and during).

There would be an option for staying for a further 2 days and doing some classic self-guided scrambles. E.g. Snowdon via Crib Goch. That would cost an extra £185 per person for 2 extra night’s accommodation and the meals.

Let me know if you are interested. An £80 deposit would be required by Plas-y-Brenin and we would need to firm up the numbers by the end of November.

Thanks, Joanna.
