The annual DWS festival is this year being held at Connor cove Dorset.

The action kicks off at 11am with the FatFace Enduro comp. Teams of two can attempt to climb as many routes as possible during the day. This event is open to anyone wishing to take part and score cards are available on the day.
The Snow and Rock speed comp will take place at 4pm alongside this year's new difficulty event on a route set by Steve Mcclure.
Competition topo's will be provided by Rockfax and the area is covered fully in the new Dorset Rockfax guide.

A new party site will be revealed upon the day. A fee of £5 will cover food, parking, free beer and camping if required on Saturday night.

Remember: Deep water soloing is stupid, dangerous and most likely to result in serious injury. X1 sports recommend that you safely stay at home.

Ay up!!!!
Think I left "the head" in that field where the party was held! didn't get to sleep till stupid O'Clock in the morning, and didn't get to Lulworth till 4.30pm, and climbed like a bag of spanners when I did. All good fun though and a big thanks to Mike and the crew for sticking their necks out and organising it again!!! Cheers1

In reply to Jenny5.10:

Weather timed perfectly in fact - it was raining on the south coast friday and it is pissing down again today.

Party was awesome, dont know exactly what time I passed out but I think the sun was starting to appear over the horizon.

Big thanks to all who organised!
Mike Weeks 22 Aug 2005
In reply to Mike Weeks:
Thanks to everyone that made the effort to come down to Dorset at the weekend for another brilliant fest.
The top three speed results were:

Steve McClure 28.4 secs
Adam Lincoln 34 Secs
Gav Symmonds 34.6 Secs

Enduro comp winners were Steve McClure and Ruth Taylor.

As ever, a big thanks to the sponsors: FatFace, Snow and Rock, Wild Country/Red chili and Rockfax. Without their support the event would be impossible to put in its current form.

If anyone found a black Peak performance fleece with a chrome seiko watch in the pocket then please email me.
It was picked up sometime after 9am on saturday during clean up. Mike@x1sports.com
