What is it with this 'demon' and 'beast' stuff, they mean evil as well as strong.....Hercules would be better would it not? Hercules...superhuman strength and a god.

Tyler 'Hercules' Landman.

I don't get it. This thread is now a few hours and a good few posts long, and we've yet to see that delightfully RT-esque "yeah, good job, but it's hardly worth reporting and the conditions lowered the grade five nothces, and the problem suits his body type and it's not that hard anyway and" blah blah blah until you start to wonder what the thread is about.

You are off topic Dom. Get down the Chit-chat room.

In reply to Oli:

Yeah, and I hear those holds have been 'improved' by wie brushing.

Sorry; just trying to stir some good old RT BS up. Force of habit...

That's how rumours start Dom. Stop it please.

The whole of UK climbing is behind this young gun and we don't want any negative vibes dude from some Canook.

In reply to Mick - UKClimbing.com:

Naughty naughty. My apologies.

And I aint no Cannuck, ok?

In reply to Mick - UKClimbing.com: Speak for yourself, Mick! I know a substantial section of UKC will be behind Darren Jackson and myself when we do our Tryfan Triptych in June: Then maybe you'll report a 'real' headline..."46 year-old Marc Chrysanthou and 37 year-old Darren Jackson repeat Gashed Crag, Grooved Arete, and First Pinnacle Rib - in a day!!" That'll be 2,000ft of hard climbing in one 'push'(Herr Huber would be proud to have that on his cv, eh?), not a 12ft one-move wonder that some kid happened to get lucky on - and I nearly 'got' nineteenth try last year - just lost my grip on the sloper when the lads stopped holding me in place - and then it got too hot to have another go). Anyway, I'm not trying to knock young talent..hats off to the lad...if he stays clear of groupies and hard cider he'll go on to great things...just don't remember many newshounds up at Pontesford back in the day when a teenage hotshot (me) was repeating Walt Unsworth's classic desperates.
 Simon Caldwell 14 Feb 2006
In reply to Dom Orsler:
It's only considered newsworthy because it's near Sheffield, blah blah blah Mafia blah blah Yorkshire blah blah blah

Is that better?

Mick- You missed one.
Jeff Landman 17? (Ty's older brother)
