The winners of the Boardman Tasker Prize for mountain literature and Kendal International Film Competition will be announced at the Kendal Mountain Festivals.

Marc C (still not bitter at coming 3rd - aged 8 - in a Twist competition at Abergele; winning a lousy stick of rock, when the winner got a shiny highly desirable torch).

It’s also worth saying that one of our Extreme Film School entries is being screened as a finalist in Banff this year -Thrill Seekers. Two other ESF film makers from 2005 have re-edited and extended their two-minute films from 2005 and are in the finals at Kendal - The Beatnik and Generation Game. And of course other ESF film makers from previous years are now active commercially - people like Alastair Lee and David Halstead of Posing Productions for example.
