"It is one of those great “sudden” tops, no false summits and trudging up loose scree: just a sharp pull onto the exposure of the North Ridge. The rock throughout was magnificent even on the easy pitches and absolutely no stone-fall troubled us during the ascent. "

Malcolm Phelps describes the ascent with three friends of the Cassin Route on the North East face of the Piz Badile.

Was a wonderful article, thanks for sharing. As good as I've read in a long time. Though now I've got this image of 4 Brits in Ronhill tracksters showing the hotshot young Italians how it is done!

I thought so too. Really enjoyed reading it. What a great experience they had.

Got some more crackers coming up as well that myself and Jo are working on.

Keep them coming please, we can now get more up now Jo has joined the team.

Crumbs; Natasha and I got to the summit at six when we did the North Ridge. Luckily for us it was July and not September!

Great story. Thanks.
