"An account of a winter ascent of a new line on Vagakallen, one of the more impressive peaks in Lofoten"

Dave Hunter recalls the route with a real sting in the tail.

In reply to JoH - Editor: Good to hear from Dave Hunter again.

<pedant mode> "...placed a poor peg in a very shallow crag" should be "crack", surely? </pedant mode>

In reply to JoH - Editor: i feel a bit bad about adding to the general air of lay-editorialising but i found that a bit hard to read in a 'sentences a bit too long - words unnecessarily 'clever' - phrases a bit too self-consciously flowery' kinda way

also the blocks of texts are a bit too huge

i ended up not reading it in fact but i'm busier than i am bored today . . .

sorry! i'll probabably have another go later

In reply to JoH - Editor: If we're being pedantic, "But one thing he certainly is and that is strong" is horrible. But who cares? It's a good story.

Cheers,

FT.
