 dannym2710 15 Sep 2007
In reply to The Lemming: lol it was the advert that decided it for me too.
 JWT 15 Sep 2007
In reply to The Lemming: tiesto - sweet things / everything / ten seconds till sunrise / hes a pirate (remix)

get some dave clarke too, and DJ twisty/marcky if you really wanna get hardcore

In reply to The Lemming:

stay away from the trance, go for Pendulum "Hold Your Colour" a f*cking storming drum and bass album. you wont be dissapointed and the young'uns will be impressed.
 JWT 15 Sep 2007
In reply to Taba: high five for that suggestion

obey the man !
OP The Lemming 15 Sep 2007
In reply to JackTurner:

I'll hold judgement till I've heard them in a few minutes
 dannym2710 15 Sep 2007
In reply to The Lemming: jayz and linkin park -encore
 andi_e 15 Sep 2007
In reply to Taba: Pendulum is not drum&bass, it's shit.
OP The Lemming 15 Sep 2007
In reply to dannym2710:

Quite a few linkin park

Does it have to be encore?
 dannym2710 15 Sep 2007
In reply to The Lemming: doesnt have to be but encore is a good tune.
 andi_e 15 Sep 2007
In reply to The Lemming: The only young'uns who like Linkin park are 12
 andi_e 15 Sep 2007
or haven't grown up and started listening to music yet.
 dannym2710 15 Sep 2007
In reply to The Lemming: dj foose- now your gone seems to be on a lot in the boy racers cars
 dannym2710 15 Sep 2007
In reply to andi_e: and what in your infinate wisdom classes as music
 andi_e 15 Sep 2007
In reply to dannym2710: Real drum&bass, real metal, none of this pendulum over-played-pop-music or linkin krap faux-epic band-put-together-by-a-magazine metal.

Download Black Sun Empire- Driving Insane CD2 or Converge - Jane Doe.
 dannym2710 15 Sep 2007
In reply to andi_e: 1) im not into drum and bass shite, or any dance for that matter, all ive suggested ive heard in the boy racers cars in barrow. i listen to the foo fighters and metallica
 andi_e 15 Sep 2007
In reply to dannym2710: well in that case download some good metal like the aforementioned Converge- Jane Doe.
 dannym2710 15 Sep 2007
In reply to andi_e: that is a pretty piss poor song
 andi_e 15 Sep 2007
In reply to dannym2710: OK, well at least you tried to look outside the TV music box. Don't you feel better for not being a sheep?
 dannym2710 15 Sep 2007
In reply to andi_e: had i followed you and enjoyed the song wud i then not have been a sheep for following you?
 andi_e 15 Sep 2007
and how did you manage to listen to the entire 11 minute track more than once in that short space of time? Wow, super-powers.
 andi_e 15 Sep 2007
In reply to dannym2710: No, because I suggested it to you and didn't tell you to download it.
 dannym2710 15 Sep 2007
In reply to andi_e: i listened to the first minute of it and couldnt hold out any longer.
 andi_e 15 Sep 2007
In reply to dannym2710: So, therefore, you haven't listened to it but you discarded it because of the harsh sound. Which is what I did when I first heard the album, but then I listened again...
 Wallm0nkey 15 Sep 2007
In reply to The Lemming: I quite like Converge some one played me you fail me first so I went out and got Jane Doe. Didn't think so much of their last album though.
 andi_e 15 Sep 2007
In reply to Wallm0nkey: No Heroes? No, not as good as Jane Doe but then again nothing is. I saw them live, it was absolutely brutal, I got hit in the eye! Amazing.

In reply to The Lemming:

Alloy Mental (Original Mix)- fits the bill.
Best thing is you can sing 'Badger, Badger, Badger....Mushroom' to it.

It'll 'out- bang' anything by the trance trousers mob.

Also have a listen to Jeff Mills stuff.

any Venetian Snares fans out there?

i advise anyone to give him a try...you'll love it or hate it. or you hate it then love it.

 Paul Atkinson 16 Sep 2007
In reply to The Lemming: being neither hip nor young but still liking my dance music, recent purchases I'd strongly recommend

Justice - Justice
Simian Mobile Disco - Attack Decay Sustain Release
Chemical Brothers - We Are The Night

none of them head bleedingly banging but all original and absorbing, nice in the car and brilliant on a good system
