'The North West - A Winter Climbing Playground'

ANDY NISBET, Scotland's most prolific winter pioneer, started in the Cairngorms but his urge to explore took him to the North West. Wherever there was unclimbed ice or snowy rock, he would go. His illustrated lecture, organised by the North East Mountain Trust, will descibe his adventures from Torridon to Fionaven.

Excellent lecture by Andy on Wed - his description of climbs on places like Beinn Eighe were inspiring. Priorities now sorted – check out some winter routes tomorrow, look for new Cairngorms guide..
