In reply to Mick Ryan - Editor - UKC:
I think ridiculous has to be the key word - reminiscent of a style of climbing I saw at a Climbing Comp in Birmingham once, where a couple of Russian & Eastern European Climbers raced each other up two identical sport routes onsight. And they were top roped.

Having said that - he must be at the pinnacle of physical fitness, and mental preparation for climbing to achieve this feat, and isn't that what a lot of us aspire to in this community?

Brave lad.

I'd rather wait for beau temps and take a nice bag of weed myself.

"Brave lad."

Total nutter.

The words of Anderl Heckmair, from the book 'My Life' when talking of these amazing speed ascents of the 1938 route. Go something along these lines...."Though, who know's where they start and where they stop the watch" Highly recomend the read by the way!

Aye,

Total nutter.

Perhaps.

Respect where it is due though.

One could say the same of many.
What did you forget on the last outing?
Both of the above?
And the compass?

Nutter or fool?

Look forward to your 1st book,

A short trip down the Vb and other tales,

Title?

Touching The Droid.
