North Wales funny man George Smith has spent the last few years weaving together a mysterious plot which is about to be unleashed on the unsuspecting public at LLAMFF 2008. His new film 'Upside Down Wales' will be premièring next Saturday night (8th March 2008) as a main event at LLAMFF.

Featuring cutting edge climbing combined with an insightful look at the landscape and culture of North Wales, George says to expect brass bands and poetry!

Don't forget: Slate of the Art 8.00pm Saturday night following Georges film with Dawes, Redhead, George and 'Carlos' live on stage with a supporting cast of peripheral slateheads. The show features Paul Williams brilliant photo's of the development of the slate quarries, eighties music and reading formthe diary of Martin Crook.

This is honestly the first time I've wanted to be back in the UK since I left. Just to attend LLAMFF! Hope it's every bit as good as the previous ones.
