NEWS: Second F8c+ on-sight from Usobiaga

Spain's Patxi Usobiaga continues his run of form by on-sighting Home Sweet Home F8c+ at Pierrot Beach in France. This is Patxi's second on-sight of a route at this grade, his first being the first ascent of Bizi Euskaraz at Etxauri in Spain on Tuesday, 11th of December 2007.

BEAST!

The drudgery of the comp circuit shines through to me in the video but there's no doubting that 7 hours a day training is hardcore and pays dividends.

i'm guessing it's not a major climbing destination.

looking at the report on his website-if i understand it properley he also tried to O.S 2 8b+s and an 8c that day as well!?This seems another step in the direction of consolidating new levels of fitness onthe crags that the new breed of comp/sport climbers are establishing.What lies ahead i wonder?
