British junior team member Edward Hamer has had a recent run of form in his half term school holiday.

Hamer, who recently won the BRYCCs at Ratho (14-16 age group) spent his school holiday ticking hard boulder problem test-pieces in North Wales.

His North Wales tick list includes: Trigger Cut (V10), Lou Ferrino (V10), Pythagoras (V10), Jerry's Roof (V9) and Bus Stop (V9).

I don't mean to be rude but do you know what the difference between 7C+ and 8B+ is?

Excellent effort by the lad nonetheless. Cool hair too, reminds me of someone.......

I know I know but he sounds like he's on his way to big things at an early age

Can't Touch This might be a good name for a problem then.
In reply to Jack Geldard - Editor - UKC:

Nice one Ed. Put this into some routes as well and we'll really be talking! Keep up the good work...

Yeah sorry, I agree with that completely. It's just that comparisons with Tyler who is possibly the best boulderer in the world and who was crushing stuff way harder at the same age are probably the last thing this lad needs!

In reply to seagull:
Possibly the second best boulderer in the world, I mean come on how many times do you people need reminding
In reply to superfurrymonkey:

Well mentioned J, I do hope the G man wasn't offended by that! I'm sure he is busy digging some more pits under S Lakes limestone buttresses!

I met Ed and his brother down the cave a few weeks back and he looked strong as he nonchalantly locked between anything disregarding any sort of matching beta. Good efforts by him and I'm expecting him to get down there and sort out halfway house followed by Directors!

In reply to superfurrymonkey:

I said at the moment. Unless a major comeback is on the cards that I've not heard about then G don't count.

In reply to Liam Copley:

Keep up man!
